A-Class Student Movers is the residential moving company Shreveport homeowners book when they want the same crew loading the truck in Highland and unloading it in Benton. We do not subcontract residential work — every mover wears the green-and-copper uniform and clocks in at the Greenwood Rd dispatch board.
Neighborhood playbook
Centenary-Highland bungalows need pine-floor runners and porch-step ramps. South Highlands brick wants four-person stair carries on the wardrobes. Bossier ranch has wide hallways and asks for speed. Cross Lake waterfront means dock-side staging. We build the load plan around the house, not a generic checklist.
Transparent flat rates
One bedroom homes are $425. Two bedrooms run $895. Three bedrooms are $1,595. Those numbers cover labor, truck, fuel inside the 318, padding, and basic disassembly. Add-ons like packing, pianos, and oversized lifts get quoted line-by-line before move day.
Move-up, move-down, move-across
About 40% of our residential jobs are within Caddo or Bossier Parish: downsizes from South Highlands to a Highland duplex, upsizes from a Bossier apartment to a Haughton new-build. The other 60% leave the metro on our LD trucks. Either way, the estimator who quotes you also signs the final bill.
What is not included
Residential flat rates assume single-family one-elevator-or-one-staircase access. Multi-story walk-ups, hoarder-grade decluttering, and crawl-space retrievals are quoted on top. We never invent a charge on move day — if it’s not on the estimate, you don’t pay it.
